Reviews From Our Residents:
Peggy:
I am so thankful for my family, my friends and that I wake up every morning. The one thing that I am so very thankful for when I wake up every morning is that we live in a country as great as Canada and that we are able to speak freely, criticize, and have the lives that we have without question. We are so fortunate when compared to the lives others have to face in other countries.
Sue:
I am thankful for my family and my friends and for everything that God has given us - there are so many things that we can be thankful for. I am thankful for all the love that I feel from everyone here, both Residents and Team Members, and that I am able to do little things for others and continue to do my part to help others.
Herb:
I was doing everything on my own - cooking, cleaning, everything - after my wife passed away last year. My back went out and I was unable to continue on my own. That’s when I came to Hallmark and I am so thankful that I have come to this place. Everyone has been so nice and accepted me so quickly. I feel that I am a part of this community. I’ve suffered a stroke and it has made it hard for me to converse, but I am thankful that I am still able to talk, even though it is not as easy as it used to be.
Mary:
I am thankful for my two grandsons who are in Russia right now helping at an orphanage. They had everything stolen from them, but they are still determined to stay and help the children.
Katherine:
I am so thankful for my family - they are so close to each other. I am also thankful for my sight, and that I am still able to read.
