Natalie and Bob sure look like the folks on our Hallmark shuttle bus...
Our Hallmark shuttle bus is now sporting a great set of photos about life at Hallmark. Look for it around town!
Great times singing old classics today.
Congratulations to Linda Rau, who has retired after 12 1/2 years of service to Hallmark, primarily as executive director. She has touched many lives during her time here, and we wish her the best. She passes the torch to Randy Kolarcik, who assumed his new duties this week, and we are excited to welcome him.
On Friday, we hosted an info fair for the local community, where folks came to visit and learn about the various senior-friendly services offered by Hallmark and local agencies. As we age, we often need different services, and figuring out where to start looking is difficult. You can always contact us if you have questions, and we’ll probably have some suggestions for you.
Our housekeepers often leave special chocolate treats on our residents' pillows, with an encouraging note.
Ruth told some of her life stories to visitors from a local elementary school class. We love it when young folks come to visit!
If you just read it in a history textbook, it doesn’t seem as real as when a grandma tells the story, because she was actually there when it happened.
It's a beautiful snowy Wednesday here.
Our kitchen staff decorate doors, for the enjoyment of the residents.
Turning 60 is a special staff birthday!
Today we honour our veterans, many of whom we have known over the years at Hallmark. Thank you for your sacrifice for us.
Linda, our great executive director, shared about flu with our residents today. It's always good to learn whatever you can!
Before the rains come, we are loving the leaves at Hallmark.
